this is a vintage cast aluminum griswold 6 qt dutch oven, the lid reads on the inside tite top dutch oven 9 it has the griswold logo below that it reads pat'o feb. 10,1920 erie pa. u.s.a a 466GA. no i think it is a g instead of a c, you can see this in the pictures, the bottom of the dutch oven reads the griswold mfg co. cast aluminum 9 the griswold logo, erie pa. u.s.a pat'd mar, 16,20 A466, it holds 6 qts of water, it measures across about 11" and it is about 4" deep, it is in very good clean condition as can be seen in the pictures, now it wobbles when setting on the counter when there is no water in it, i set it on my electric stove burner and it does not wobble, so i wanted to mention this, i have never seen a griswold dutch oven like this one before, nice vintage cookware, please keep watching my shop for daily listings of vintage aluminum cookware, vintage christmas, glassware, etc. thank you,millyredstreasures
