“Johnny Cash had an aura about him.”Trevor has had an interest in radio from an early age and first cut his teeth on radio North Sea, an offshore station near Holland.He’s a Downtown original, the eldest member of the Downtown family and has been on board since it started in 1975. He has presented various mainline shows but now hosts an evening programme on Downtown Country from 7-10pm, Sunday-Thursday as well as a Saturday breakfast show.Trevor’s been involved with country music for as long as he can remember and has been a huge part of Downtown Country since its launch.He has been lucky enough to interview a host of musical legends including Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Jerry Lee Lewis, Tammy Wynette and Reba McEntire.In fact, he’s a bit of a legend himself having been inducted into the PPI Radio awards Hall of Fame in September 2016.
