It's also handy for helping you to prevent scorching and discoloring your melt and pour soap bases by overheating.</p><p>Just clip the thermometer to the side of your pan or double boiler without allowing the tip to touch the bottom (for best results submerge the tip in 2" - 3" of liquid). Grip the red safety ball to remove the thermometer before pouring to prevent burns. Includes instructions and a wax pouring guide.</p><p> </p><p>Not intended for microwave use.</p>
