Copper Damascus Set
This knife set was a commissioned project using Baker Forge Raindrop Shichimai. The billet was carefully thinned to reach the proper dimensions for this project and to maintain as much of the layering as possible. From the billet a set was made that included a chef, petty and a paring (kitchen scalpel) knife. The blade is comprised of wrought iron, damascus, and copper with a 80CRV2 core. It was etched to bring out the pattern in the steel. Sculpted handles were made from stabilized black hornbeam with curved maple accent stripes. The handles have hidden internal pins giving them a very clean look. The set was completed with a leather knife roll. It will be available at The Forge Dubai.
