This sturdy cast aluminum pan comes all the way from the 40's, made by Griswold in Erie, Pennsylvania! This particular pot is the No. 5 Cast Aluminum Oval Roaster, A485C, though you'll not find very many that looks exactly like this one! This particular oval roaster is a rare variant of the normal No. 5 Oval Roaster, with the Griswold Emblem stamped on the exterior of the lid, instead of the interior center. Furthermore, the bottom etching of the Griswold emblem is off to the far end of the bottom of the roaster itself, instead of being in the center as well. Dimensions: 13.5Long 9Wide 4deep A good item for collectors of these interesting solid metal pieces from companies no longer with us, and a more unique piece on that with it's rare variance from the normal Griswold No. 5 oval roaster!
