Up for your consideration is this Vintage Lodge #12 Camp Oven! These ovens are perfect for hearth cooking, avid campers, bonfires, and dinner parties! The difference between a Dutch Oven and a Camp Oven is the footed bottom and rimmed lid. The rimmed lid is used to hold coals for a more even heat while cooking! Lodge Was founded in 1896 by Joseph Lodge as the Blacklock Foundry in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. The foundry produced a wide range of cast iron cookware and other items. In 1910, the foundry was destroyed by a fire and was rebuilt and named Lodge. Lodge is still in operation today and remains in the city it started in! Cleaned and Seasoned, ready to display, use, or gift! No cracks, rust, or repairs. Unlike today’s cookware, this piece will literally last a lifetime. Cast iron not only becomes non-stick with use; it will last a lifetime with proper care, adds iron to your diet, is chemical free, and is extremely versatile!
