Aug 21, 2014 - I used to go to the Dollar Tree and buy lots of these minute timers. I used them for fluency testing. I also put them in a center for the kids to use when testing each other. Great bargain for $1! The glass hourglass timers didn’t work because I always had one kid who would take the plastic ends off and drop the glass part on the floor in spite of my efforts to tape the ends on! No problems with these timers!
