So now that I’ve waxed poetic about trader joe’s everything but the elote seasoning, and you’ve rushed out and bought it… lets give you a recipe that uses it. This particular recipe takes it’s direction from the street side elote corn sticks you can find to purchase however, it’s slightly different.

Born and raised in sunny southern California, with a farm-raised Iowan grandmother who loved to cook, and a mother who didn't, I grew up in the kitchen experimenting and creating meals with food.  I quickly learned that the way to anyone's heart is through their stomach, you just have to find the right food.  These days I take the dishes I loved as a child and update them with fresh, local and sustainable ingredients; Cali style, where food is full of avocados and citrus, and Taco Tuesday is a way of life.
